Yes, it is only ten days away, and I'm starting to get slightly nervous. I mean, come on, 50,000 words in one month. ONE MONTH. 30 days to write a novel.
Ahh. Well, wish me luck. What I've decided to do is to create a new post for every day of NaNoWriMo, so you guys can check up on how I'm going. I honestly don't know how I'm going to do--but this time, I'm pretty determined to actually do it. And finish it. And win it.
I utterly failed at Camp NaNoWriMo, mainly becasue I pansted it all (which I'm probably going to do again, but with MORE of an idea). And I'll post that idea on here, with a synopsis, and possible some exerpts as time goes on, just to see how it's going.
Bye-bye for now, (going to do some more editing/writing) and hopefully I'll post within the next week or so... and if not, then on the 1st of November. :)

I officially have four followers!
Oooh, look! Four followers! Thanks guys, and girls, you're awesome. 'nuff said.
Last post, (I think) I said that I would be blogging more often... well, uhh, that was quite some time ago, wasn't it? heehee, there are several reasons for this. For one, I forgot my password. Yeah, I know--stupid but I did. And then I kind of forgot about blogging for a few weeks, but... I've remembered my password so it's all good now.
But I've also been sick for quite some time, and I didn't particularly feel like blogging. Oh my gosh, I am s sick of waiting for doctors and sitting on plush seats and chairs, constantly going up to the desk and asking where I am in line.
Not much has really happened since then, except that I epically-failed Campnanwrimo in August (I blame it to my sickness). But let’s talk about writing. Because that's what this blog is for, right? That and, I reckon it's a very good place to complain about things.
Lately, I've been writing a lot of Enchanted. I'm not sure why, but I've had this compulsive urge to write it. I think that it may have something to do with the fact that I basically have no idea where I'm going with it--and to me, that’s exciting. I do have the basic plot lined out somewhere inside my head, but besides from that, it's open to my imagination. Which I like. See, compared to some of my other stories, I know exactly what is going to happen, almost every event. I find that slightly boring for me, and I loose interest in the story. But not the characters, definitely not the characters.
I think that's about it for now, but I PINKY PROMISE that I'll blog soon. Hopefully, I don't forget my password again. If you want to check out any of my stories, I've decided that I'm going to add a link to the "My Writing" tab for this blog. Enjoy!

Been busy!
I've been meaning to blog for awhile now, really I have but could never seem to find the right time to actually get around doing it. But moving past that, I do have some news to day. First of all, http://www.campnanowrimo.org/ for July was a complete and utter fail of a mess--reaching only about 22, 000 of the required 50,000 words. But I do have to say, I was busy. This month however I've promised myself that I AM GOING TO DO IT, and by that I mean try to keep up with the daily quota of words. So far, I'm a bit behind (5,672/8,065) for today but thank-god it's friday so I will have lots of time to (hopefully) catch up and possibly even run ahead a bit. (I wish.)
In other news, I've finished Cursed. (woohoo!) It's actually a bit shorter than the last one that I wrote only barely scraping over 46,000 but like they say: quality over quantity or whatever. So now is going to be your last chance to read it before I possibly take it down for editing and tweaking. You can either read it on GoodReads or Wattpad, the choice is yours but I'm going to give you the GoodReads link becuase I'm too lazy to open another window to find the link. >.< http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/266593-cursed-finished. The sequel, Stolen will also be uploaded very soon.

Hello!
Yes, hello everyone. Or everyone that is actually reading this. ^_^
So. I'm sure by just reading the title of my blog, you can tell what it's gonna be all about.
Yes. And I should probably also tell you why I decided to call this blog, "One Thousand Words." There are a couple of reasons, actually.
a) I'm not a very orignal person, and that was the first thing that came into my head and I was too lazy to come up with anything else. And,
b) When I write, I try to wrire at least 1000 words a day--although as I normally reach that limt, there ARE day where I have a, "cbf, I'll do it later" sort of attitude. I usually write more on weekends, however when i have more time.
Writing. And I'm sure I'll mention books in here too, books I either love or hate.
And if you don't like reading? Or writing?
Well, there's a simple solution to that problem. Do you see that small red box with a white cross in it that's in the upper right hand corner? Click on that, and your problems solved!
For all of those who do like reading and writing, well, thank-you. Because a) you have a good sense of hobbies, and b) for reading my awesomely-epic-blog.
I think I should tell you a bit more about myself, eh? I think that you've grasped the fact that I'm a bookworm, and a writer. Yay, awesome combination, don't you think?
Well, I did, anyway. I'm 14 years old and my name is Kara and......that's all I'm probably going to tell you, so..yeah.
Lets start with reading. Simply put, I could not live without books, or writing for another matter-- but I'll get to that later. I basically read what every other teenager girl reads nowdays-- romace books. yay for that. :) Oh, and paranormal books too, lets not forget that, shall we?
Anyways, on to writing. I've always written stories as a kid-- you know, just kiddy stories, about faires and stuff like that. I also think one time I wrote a story about snowmen...
quite embarassing when I look back on it. But I've since I was about...thirteen(?) I've been writing somewhat seriously--as in actually trying to start and finish a novel. So far I have finished one novel and I am currently re-writing it becuse I am a perfectionist when it comes to writing. But apart from that, I'm writing about nine different stories-- some which I only have vauge ideas for so far.
And if you want yo check out stuff I've written? Click on the "Wattpad widget" that took me about an hour to figure out how to add. Thats all for now!
